Chirurgie de la colonne vertébrale Contacter Portrait Introduction Le Dr Marchesi a fait ses études de médecine à l’Université de Lausanne, puis a poursuivi sa spécialisation en orthopédie à l’hôpital de l’Isle à Berne. Il a ensuite assuré la responsabilité de l’unité de chirurgie du dos de cet hôpital. En 1992, il quitte la Suisse pour le Canada, où durant 10 ans il enseigne à l’Université McGill de Montréal tout en dirigeant le service de chirurgie de la colonne vertébrale. De retour en Suisse, il rejoint la Clinique Bois-Cerf où il continue d’exercer sa spécialité. Depuis plus de 25 ans, il est donc entièrement engagé dans le traitement chirurgical de la colonne vertébrale, dans son enseignement, ainsi que dans la recherche ayant publiés d’innombrables articles dans les meilleures revues scientifiques. Il est membre des plus prestigieuses sociétés européennes et nord-américaines de chirurgie spinale et est régulièrement appelé à l’étranger pour des conférences.
